We are encouraging our members to enroll into the short term disability benefit as they will receive:
1. 60% of their average quarterly earnings for members who have less than 16 years of service. The maximum weekly benefit is $1,154.
2. 70% of their average quarterly earnings for members who have more than 16 years of service. The maximum weekly benefit is $1,154.
If you do not enroll into the Short Term Disability benefit, you will be subject to the NY State Disability weekly Benefit of $170.
The last day to enroll into Medical and Short Term Disability is September 15, 2023.
